Geometric Shapes used in Trebl System bricks

Trebl is build upon the following round geometric shapes:

Cylinder

Sections of a right cylinder is used in 4 different brick types in Trebl System. TREBL-F, TREBL-H, TREBL-Q, TREBL-HQ all use the cylindrical geometry.

Here are the sets that are based on cylindrical geometric shapes.

As bricks can be connected two different directions a serpentine shape is created using cylindrical shape bricks.

Sphere

Sections of the spherical geometry are used in Trebl System bricks, in particular the TREBL-S bricks. It takes 12 TREBL-S bricks to create a full sphere.

Cone

Sections of the conical geometry are used in Trebl System bricks, in particular the TREBL-C bricks. It takes 6 TREBL-C bricks to create a cone.

Ellipsoid

Sections of the ellipsoidal geometry are used in Trebl System bricks, in particular the TREBL-E bricks. It takes 12 TREBL-E bricks to create a ellipsoid.

A geodesic dome can be created using the ellipsoid bricks up-side to form a multilevel structure.

 

Torus

Sections of the toroid geometry are used in Trebl System bricks, in particular the TREBL-T bricks. It takes 48 TREBL-T bricks to create a Torus. The trefoil knot is based on toroid geometry using 168 TREBL-T.

A combination of above mentioned geometric shapes can lead to a new geometric shape, like a combination of half sphere and ellipsoid creates the oval geometric shape or a combination of half sphere and cylinder creates the stadium geometric shape.
